A mother sitting on the edge of an unmade bed at night, holding her crying newborn against her shoulder

NICU nurse30+ yearsIn your home, in Melbourne

You are holding her. She is still crying. And you are pretending you are fine.

I'm Sue. In thirty years of neonatal nursing I have watched a great many mothers do exactly that — confused, worn out, quietly furious, and still trying to look like they have it handled. You do not have to do that in front of me. Take the small things for yourself — a hot shower, five minutes that are yours. I will take the big ones: the nights, the feeds, the settling, the 3am worry. I come to your home here in Melbourne, and I stay.

No obligation. You will be talking to me, not a service.

Start with something small for yourself: my bath and body collection ships free across Australia.

The Newborn Cue Chart

Your baby tells you what they need long before they cry. Eight pages from Sue — the cue chart itself (print it for the fridge), the settling ladder, how to tell hungry from tired, what's normal in the first six weeks, and the short list of things worth a phone call.

One email with the guide, then a couple of follow-ups you can stop at any time. Never passed on to anyone.

You are not the first one to feel this

Three mothers, at three different points. Their words, from Sue's Google reviews.

Part one · the worst of it

Mama Sue truly is a remarkable woman. She came into my life at a time I was at my most vulnerable, 5 days after my daughter's birth, and I was really struggling mentally and with severe sleep deprivation.

Part two · someone takes the nights

During a difficult period of long hospital stays and sleepless nights, I was struggling with carer burnout, unable to sleep, my nervous system was at its peak. Sue stepped in and stayed with our family (a household of three children under 5) over consecutive nights and gave me the opportunity to rest, to reset, and to sleep.

Part three · yourself again

Not only is she an absolute expert and wealth of knowledge in all things baby and motherhood, she has the biggest, kindest heart and the innate ability to see through to the woman behind the “Mum” title and help wherever she might be struggling.
